Thuis (home.timhaerkens.nl) is een privé-app voor het huishouden van Tim Haerkens en zijn gezin. Er is geen openbare registratie: alleen mensen die zijn uitgenodigd kunnen inloggen. Deze pagina legt uit welke gegevens de app gebruikt, waarvoor en waar ze staan.

Welke gegevens
- Account: je naam, e-mailadres en profielfoto-URL van Google (of alleen je e-mailadres bij een inloglink), en de naam en emoji die je zelf kiest.
- Wat je zelf invoert: kamers, taken, klussen, boodschappen, spullen, foto's van kamers en klussen, en gegevens over je kind (naam, geboortedatum, lengte en gewicht).
- Gekoppelde diensten, alleen als je ze zelf koppelt:
- Philips Hue: lampen en kamers, om ze te bedienen;
- Tado: zones en temperaturen, om ze te tonen en aan te passen;
- Google Nest (via Google Device Access): de lijst met camera's en, als je kijkt, een live beeldverbinding. Er worden geen beelden opgeslagen;
- FinanceFlow (een eigen app van Tim): woonlasten, hypotheek, woningwaarde en gezamenlijke vaste lasten, alleen-lezen en niet opgeslagen in Thuis.
- Woonplaats (optioneel), omgezet naar coördinaten voor het weer via Open-Meteo.
De toegangssleutels van gekoppelde diensten worden versleuteld opgeslagen en alleen op de server gebruikt.
Waarvoor
Alleen om de app te laten werken voor jullie huishouden: taken en klussen bijhouden, weekoverzichten voor je kind tonen, slimme apparaten bedienen en tips geven. Er is geen reclame, geen tracking, geen profilering en gegevens worden niet verkocht of gedeeld met derden voor hun eigen doeleinden.
AI
Voor de kamercoach, tips en advies stuurt de app de benodigde gegevens (bijvoorbeeld een foto van een kamer, je spullen, de leeftijd van je kind) naar Anthropic (Claude). Anthropic verwerkt dit om het antwoord te maken en gebruikt gegevens uit de API volgens zijn commerciële voorwaarden niet om modellen te trainen. De tips zijn algemene informatie en geen medisch advies.
Waar staan de gegevens
- Database en foto's: Supabase, in de EU (Frankfurt).
- De app zelf: Vercel, in de EU (Frankfurt).
- Inloggen: Supabase Auth en, als je daarvoor kiest, Google.
Cookies
Alleen de noodzakelijke cookies om je ingelogd te houden. Geen analytics- of advertentiecookies.
Gegevens van Google
Thuis gebruikt Google voor het inloggen (naam, e-mailadres, profielfoto) en, als je Nest koppelt, de Smart Device Management API om je camera's te tonen. Het gebruik en de overdracht van informatie die Thuis van Google-API's ontvangt, voldoet aan het Google API Services User Data Policy, inclusief de Limited Use-vereisten. Je kunt de toegang altijd intrekken via je Google-account of met "Ontkoppel" in de app.
Bewaren en verwijderen
Gegevens blijven bewaard zolang je huishouden de app gebruikt. Wil je je account of alle gegevens laten verwijderen, of wil je weten wat er over je is opgeslagen? Mail naar info@timhaerkens.nl; dat wordt binnen 30 dagen geregeld. Een koppeling verwijderen (Hue, Tado, Nest) kan zelf in de app en wist ook de opgeslagen sleutels.
Je rechten
Je hebt recht op inzage, correctie, verwijdering en bezwaar volgens de AVG. Ben je het ergens niet mee eens, dan kun je ook een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Privacy policy (English)
Thuis ("Home", home.timhaerkens.nl) is a private household app operated by Tim Haerkens for his own family. There is no public sign-up: only people invited by the household owner can sign in. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, stored and shared, and how to have it deleted.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, your name, email address and profile picture URL (scopes
openid,email,profile). With an email link, only your email address. You may add a display name and emoji. - Content you enter: rooms, chores, projects, shopping items, household items, photos of rooms and projects, and details about your child (name, date of birth, length and weight).
- Connected services (optional, only when you connect them): Philips Hue (lights and rooms), Tado (heating zones and temperatures), Google Nest via the Smart Device Management API (the list of your cameras and, while you watch, a live video stream), and the owner's own finance app (housing costs, mortgage and shared fixed costs, read-only and not stored).
- Location: only the town you type in yourself, converted to coordinates for the weather forecast. The app does not track your device's location.
How we use Google user data
- Google Sign-In (name, email, profile picture) is used only to authenticate you and check that you were invited to the household, and to show your name in the app.
- Google Nest (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/sdm.service, only if you connect it) is used only to list your cameras and open a live stream when you choose to watch. Video is streamed directly to your browser and is never recorded or stored. The app stores only camera names and IDs and an encrypted access token. - Google user data is never sold, never used for advertising, never used to train AI models, and never shared with third parties except as needed to run the app (see below) or when required by law.
- Thuis' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use other data
Only to provide the app to your household: tracking chores and projects, showing the weekly guide for your child, controlling your own devices and giving tips. There is no advertising, analytics, tracking or profiling.
Sharing and service providers
- Supabase (database, authentication and file storage) and Vercel (hosting), both in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Anthropic (Claude), only when you use an AI feature (room coach, tips, item advice): the data needed for that answer, such as a room photo, your household items or your child's age. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API data is not used to train their models. Google user data is not sent to Anthropic.
- Philips Hue, Tado and Google, only to carry out what you ask (for example switching a light) when you have connected them.
- Open-Meteo, for the weather: only the coordinates of your town.
Storage and security
All data is stored in the EU and transmitted over HTTPS. Access tokens for connected services are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and only used on the server. Each household's data is isolated with row-level security, so members only see their own household.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept for as long as your household uses the app. You can disconnect Hue, Tado or Nest at any time in the app, which deletes the stored tokens, and revoke the app's access in your Google account. To delete your account and all data, email info@timhaerkens.nl; this is done within 30 days.
Children
The app is meant for adults. Information about a child is entered by their parents for their own household and is not shared or used for anything else.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its use, by emailing info@timhaerkens.nl. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
